School Of Accounting ( SOA )

Brief introduction of School Of Accounting
School Of Accounting (SOA) was established in Universiti Utara Malaysia in 1984.SOA consists of two different departments, namely the Department of Financial Accounting and Taxation and Department of Audit and Accounting Information Systems. 

To our knowledge, SOA is a place for accounting students or non accounting students to learn about accounting. It is a place that allows Northern Varsity Accounting Club (NOVAC) to carry out their activity too. We feel proud to be a part of SOA.

Besides, we would like to promote one of the well known lounge in Universiti Utara Malaysia which is called ACADEMIA LOUNGE. It is located behind of the building school of accoutancy nearby Perpustakaan Al-Bahiyah. This is the place where we can enjoying variety of foods include western style food and also local foods. The foods are very delicious. Here we no need to worry about the hygience of the lounge and also the foods. Here we also would like to share one important information that this lounge is only for staffs who working in Universiti Utara Malaysia. Students are only allowed to enjoy the food at here on Saturday.The business hours of Academia Lounge are as follow:

Sunday-Thursday : 8.00am-5.00pm
Saturday               : 8.00am-3.00pm
Friday                   : Closed
